Chocolate and Mulled Wine
Leader: Cathy
Nine walkers enjoyed an eight mile stroll around Dronfield with some local story telling on the way.
Our elevenses stop saw Christmas cake and Wensleydale cheese (kindly supplied by Jill and Chris) and mulled wine to begin the festive season.
We also enjoyed bacon butties beforehand – and cups of tea afterwards.
A great walk with lovely company and sunshine as well.
What other way is there to enjoy a Saturday ?
Thank you everyone.

Basil writes;
A very wet day for the walk from Meadowhead to Sheffield’s Botanical Gardens attracted a brave group of four.
We followed some paths new to most near the Limb Valley and sheltered for a while at Forge Dam for lunch – before completing the Sheffield Round Walk section down to Hunters Bar.
Heavy rain all the way but we survived and had a good chat.
The waterproofs worked.
