The Ramblers
Wednesday 19 March

Another good walking day for a 10 mile route from Pleasley to Clowne, via the Meden Trail, the Archaeological Way, Poulter Country Park, and Elmton.
Not quite as far as that mathematical genius, Jedidiah Buxton, who walked from Elmton to London in 1754 with the intention of seeing King George II.
Many thanks to Andrew who delivered 12 of us to Clowne spot on time for the bus back to Chesterfield.

Linacre Reservoir

A sunny, but typically blustery March day.
Many thanks to Reg for leading a mixture of 28 sighted and visually impaired walkers on a circular taking in Linacre and Holme Hall.
New volunteers to lend a guiding hand are always welcome on these much appreciated monthly walks with our visually impaired friends.
